About Metaphase: Background and Credentials

STRATEGY

Keep it simple. Make it cost and time effective. Let us manage the details. Metaphase combines scientific research experience and project management expertise with a communications specialization. We evaluate your requirements, agree on a process for moving forward, and then implement a plan from start to finish. Our success is measured by your results.

EXPERIENCE

Chrystal Palaty, PhD, is the owner and Principal Consultant of Metaphase Health Research Consulting Inc. Chrystal received her PhD from the Experimental Medicine Program, Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. After completing post-doctoral research at the University of Toronto and at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children, she returned to Vancouver and served in managerial positions in the not-for-profit and private sectors. In 2007 she founded Metaphase to provide consulting services specifically to health and medical research organizations. This has now expanded with Metaphase providing services to the pharmaceutical industry and to corporations outside of the scientific sector.

Chrystal is able to review very large amounts of complex information – scientific literature, advisory board meetings, strategic consultations or evaluation documents – and summarize them concisely and in the appropriate context. This includes scientific papers, meeting reports, strategic documents and business cases.

Chrystal works effectively with all levels of an organization including executives, project managers, subject area specialists, physicians, scientists, patients and community representatives. She has outstanding organization skills with a proven ability to work with others to effectively design, implement and successfully complete projects.
