EXPERIENCE
Chrystal Palaty, PhD, is the owner and Principal Consultant of Metaphase Health Research Consulting Inc. Chrystal received her PhD from the Faculty of Experimental Medicine at the University of British Columbia. After completing post-doctoral research at the University of Toronto and at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children, she returned to Vancouver and served in managerial positions in the not-for-profit and private sectors. In 2007 she founded Metaphase to provide consulting services specifically to health and medical research organizations. She has recently expanded her practice to provide technical writing services to the pharmaceutical industry and to corporations outside of the scientific sector.
Chrystal works effectively with all levels of an organization including project managers, physicians, scientists, patients and community representatives. She has outstanding organization skills with a proven ability to work with others to effectively design, implement and successfully complete projects.
Chrystal Palaty recently obtained a Certificate in Management Development from the Sauder School of Business. She is a member of the following organizations: LifeSciences British Columbia, Canadian Association of Continuing Health Education (CACHE); Canadian Public Health Association (CPHA) Clinical Research Professionals of BC (CRPBC); BioPharmaPM.
